In April of 2024, Hervé Mavuanga called Josh Kirby and told him that he wanted to create a professional school of decoys for all disciplines. The art of decoying is passed down, studied, and learned from one generation to the other. Hervé wanted to go further than just a weekend seminar, and provide a road map for aspiring decoys to gain knowledge, experience, and deep practice in the art of decoying. Demanet Academy offers training in decoy development for police and military, along with sport dog decoys in the disciplines of French Ring, Mondioring, and PSA. Demanet Academy instructors are experts in their field and are practitioners in the disciplines they teach.
